TheDMS Sr. Coordinator – Repairs is a full time position that will be responsible for the repair and sourcing of airframe and engine parts for DMS. The position reports to the Director – Repairs and Sourcing.
Scope of responsibilities includes; managing relationships with repair vendors, tracking overall vendor performance, leveraging spend across the Delta Air Lines Company and gathering repair & overhaul price estimates on brokered and large package quotes for the commercial team. This position requires the ability to work in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is analytical with experience in financial analysis.
Primary Functions- Gather market intelligence on inventory and repair pricing; ensuring data is captured within the DMS CRM system.
- Support the commercial organization for brokered purchases/sales and RFQ quote activity.
- Negotiate pricing on repairs/refurbishment of airframe and engine parts with third‑party providers of maintenance repair and overhaul services.
- Deliver cost saving solutions to the overall value chain in an effort to reduce CASM for Delta Airlines.
- Ensure collaboration and leveraging of repair and sourcing strategy with Delta Air Lines Supply Chain Management organization.
- Maintain relationships with third‑party providers of maintenance repair and overhaul services.
- Track vendor performance and advance opportunities to secure preferred pricing, turn‑time and volume rebates.
- Identify and participate in process improvement opportunities related to repair programs and processes.
- Ensure vendor contracts are adhered to and proper metrics/score carding are implemented in order to measure vendor performance.
- Minimum three to five years of experience in a material supply chain discipline such as procurement, repairs, pricing or related fields.
- Demonstrated success in problem solving, analytical skills and data analysis.
- Proficient in use of SAP, MS Office, Excel (V‑lookups & Pivot tables).
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and relationship‑building skills required.

- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in Business, Finance/Accounting, Operations Management or Supply Chain Management.
