Regional Support Manager - Dedicated Transportation

Summary

The Regional Support Manager is a highly flexible, field-based support role designed to provide operational continuity and executional excellence across multiple regional locations. This role supports regional initiatives, covers temporary leadership gaps, and assists with site startups, shutdowns, and customer-facing activities. The Regional Support Manager plays a critical role in ensuring safety, service, and operational readiness, without having direct reports or financial authority.

• Provide on-site support during new account startups, transitions, and shutdowns.
• Step in to temporarily support vacant frontline leadership roles (non‑managerial).
• Execute standard operating procedures and ensure alignment with company expectations, identifying and solving operational issues with accounts through continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
• Serve as a customer‑facing representative to support service delivery and issue resolution, collaborating with site teams and regional leaders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote and reinforce safety protocols and compliance with DOT and company standards.
• Assist with regional growth initiatives, including onboarding new customers or expanding services, and support implementation of new processes, tools, or technologies.
• Participate in pilot programs and special projects.
• Provide short‑term coverage for key roles during absences or vacancies.
• Ensure continuity of operations and maintain performance standards.
• Work closely with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and other departments to support site needs and share best practices across locations.

• Perform other duties as assigned; must be available to work a flexible schedule across various shifts and travel as required.

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation (required).
• Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation (preferred).
• At least 3 years of customer interaction experience (required).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, transport, warehouse, or a related field (required).
• At least 3 years of experience with DOT regulations and safety practices (required).
• At least 2 years of experience supporting multi‑site operations (preferred).
• Excellent knowledge of Transportation Advanced (required).

Required:

5‑10%

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year (salaried).
