Job Description Summary
The Freestyle Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for directing the work of other Logistics employees assigned by the Supervisor. The position requires leadership qualities, a strong commitment to safety, quality, procedural and policy adherence, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The Coordinator will schedule shipments and deliveries, issue work via computer system to warehouse employees, and support warehouse and material operations.
Candidate must be a team player with a strong work ethic and proven ability to succeed in a fast‑paced environment.
- Coordinate interdepartmentally to safeguard movement of goods while maximizing efficiencies and delivering high-level customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Develop, implement, and sustain standard work procedures.
- Print and complete all Freestyle LTL paperwork.
- Coordinate the receiving and inducting of BBP loads.
- Coordinate the receiving and inducting of paperboard loads.
- Field all customer service email pertaining to Freestyle and escalate as needed.
- Review Freestyle order 2‑3 days in advance for customer service issues and request support when needed.
- Work with shipping coordinators to supply Freestyle product for the loaders through communications.
- Communicate with carriers to schedule pick‑ups and deliveries.
- Coordinate the building, loading, and paperwork completion for Canada loads with leads.
- Receive, store, and distribute material and product, as required.
- Identify non‑conforming product.
- Perform inventory reconciliation.
- Perform audits, as scheduled, and requested.
- Research inventory discrepancies, as needed.
- Consolidate bills of lading for transfer to shipping office.
- Learn and follow all prescribed GMP, safety, attendance, and rules of conduct guidelines.
- Available to work overtime and/or flexible shift hours when required.
- Prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrate commitment to development of skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of related experience in distribution/shipping leadership.
- Demonstrated leadership in a team environment.
- Excellent leadership skills including development, supervision, and accountability.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and committed to quality.
- Well‑developed oral and written communication skills.
- Customer service‑focused and results driven.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with proven problem‑solving ability.
- Operational knowledge of food safety standards, regulations, and compliance.
- Knowledge of safe work practices, including OSHA regulations, forklift certification, and training.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, Excel and good computer skills.
- Good attendance and performance record.
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift.
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs., move it at least 5 ft., and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work on multiple levels, such as catwalks, ladders, etc., and in extreme temperatures.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work efficiently under stressful situations.
- Ability to work 8‑hour, 10‑hour or 12‑hour shift or required hours, including overtime or weekend work.
- Must be able to use a computer and associated software programs.
All Coca‑Cola, Syrup branch work is performed on a production floor, yard, and Shipping office. Work requires exposure to moderate noise levels, moving equipment, confined spaces, wetness, fumes, hazards such as moving mechanical parts, electrical current, and toxic/hazardous chemicals. Work is performed on fixed shifts with multi‑shift operation. The manufacturing facility is subject to extreme heat and cold.

CompensationPay Range:
United States of America: $50,357 - $61,547 USD.
A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
