Overview
Customs Entry Writer - Atlanta, GA (Hybrid Schedule). We are seeking an experienced customs entry writer on behalf of a globally established freight forwarder.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary customs contact for assigned customer accounts, responding quickly and driving issues through resolution.
- Follow customs brokerage SOPs and best practices with accuracy and consistency.
- Own and maintain customer SOPs and HTS databases to ensure compliance with CBP and customer requirements.
- Review and validate import documentation and data prior to submission to U.S. Customs and Partner Government Agencies (PGA).
- Support strong operational performance through on-time processing, accuracy, and high-quality customer service.
- Develop into a trusted customs advisor by transitioning from entry-writing into broader account management support.
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of customs entry-writing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Customer-focused with excellent follow-through
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving and flexibility
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
