We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Category Manager to lead sourcing initiatives, supplier management, and procurement strategies across key direct spend categories. This role will partner cross-functionally to optimize supplier performance, drive cost savings, enhance rebates, and deliver measurable business value.

Job Responsibilities for the Category Manager
  • Develop and execute category sourcing strategies, including market analysis, supplier evaluation, RFP/RFQ processes, contract negotiations, and supplier selection
  • Lead cross-functional category teams to identify cost savings, cost avoidance opportunities, rebate improvements, and KPI achievement
  • Build deep expertise in assigned categories to understand market dynamics, risks, and opportunities
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships and drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while delivering annual value and cost reduction objectives
  • Support annual planning through spend forecasting, volume analysis, and rebate projections
  • Improve procurement policies, processes, and supplier management practices
  • Assist with procurement technology initiatives, ERP systems, and process optimization projects
Job Requirements for the Category Manager
  • 4–10 years of Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Direct Procurement experience
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
  • Proven experience with Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
  • Ability to review, interpret, and negotiate supply and service contracts
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing methodologies and procurement best practices
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
