Full job description. The Global Logistics Coordinator will coordinate and optimize the movement of goods across international borders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our clients. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of international shipping regulations. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast‑paced environment and effectively collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to streamline logistics operations.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the end‑to‑end logistics process for international shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, transportation, delivery, and freight billing.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and carriers to secure capacity and optimize shipping routes to minimize costs, risks, and transit times.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations, including import/export controls, sanctions, and customs requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, in accordance with international standards and regulations.
  • Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders and customers, including tracking information and estimated delivery schedules.
  • Proactively identify potential issues or delays in the logistics process and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and maintain service levels.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in global logistics to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
  • Two or more years of experience in a fast‑paced logistics role, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Functional knowledge of logistics and company products to make informed shipping decisions.
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and import/export compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, external partners, and customers across different cultures and geographies.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Invoice audit knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with JDE and OTM ERP systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing shipping documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to handle multiple shipment requests simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCMP, CSCP, or similar) is a plus.
