TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing & Category Manager in Atlanta, GA
.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the materials procurement life cycle including supplier selection, negotiation of contracts, purchase order management, capacity scale‑up, and supplier performance. The successful candidate will optimize and scale planning and purchasing processes for TKE new product introduction, and manage critical outsourcing activities. You must be able to think strategically, manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and deliver results in a timely and cost‑effective manner.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering background to work in a co‑development manner with Engineering, Manufacturing, quality, and vendors.

You are responsible for managing the development and implementation of procurement sourcing strategies end to end, which will include: supplier management, due diligence and selection, managing cost of operations within a defined category of the supply chain; establishing standard costs; developing and executing cost reduction strategies; analyzing market indices and negotiating pricing based on relevant cost drivers; forecasting cost impacts; managing and leading all commercial negotiations with suppliers;

creating cost modeling and problem solving supply issues and recommending actions. You will manage and foster relationships with cross‑functional departments to ensure collaborative, actionable interactions.

• Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies, tools, and plans that align with the company’s goals and objectives, while maintaining sustained supply in a highly dynamic environment.
• Direct activities of all functions involved in planning and purchasing of materials and capital equipment; partner with internal teams on inventory management of acquired elements.
• Manage the ECO / MCO change order, together with product life cycle and engineering; ensure the process is articulated effectively for vendors and integrated with Engineering and Manufacturing in a co‑development environment setting.
• Assist with a large matrix of sourcing and category management initiatives within the mechanical, electrical, and electronics domain at a global level, prioritizing tasks efficiently and communicating complex matters to all levels of the business effectively.
• Develop and execute strategic agreements (NDA/JDA/MSA) alongside legal counsel that support business initiatives and expectations, taking into account fixed and variable costs, lead‑times, schedules, manufacturing capacities, and IP protection.
• Source, develop, qualify, and maintain vendor relationships and associated negotiated agreements in collaboration with technical teams and in compliance with policies and controls, ensuring timely delivery of quality goods and services. Use best practices such as careful requirements definition to develop and execute comprehensive RFPs and RFIs.
• Oversee the input, management, and update of master data into SAP/Jaggaer supplier master data for new product launch platforms.
• Reporting and analysis skills, with a high degree of aptitude in MS Suite.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to reduce costs with sole and single‑source suppliers, whether as the leader of a cross‑functional negotiation team or independently.
• Strategize the purchase order process and ensure proper tracking and documentation of all procurement activities, including monitoring core procurement systems.
