Entry Writer / Import Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities- Coordinate air and ocean import shipments from arrival through final delivery
- Prepare shipment files and process ISF filings
- Coordinate customs clearance with customs brokers
- Communicate with carriers, trucking companies, warehouses, and customers
- Complete billing and invoice processing in a timely manner
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding import shipments and customs-related matters
- Maintain shipment records and documentation
- Ensure all shipments are handled accurately and efficiently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding or import operations preferred
- Experience with air import and/or ocean import operations
- Knowledge of Customs Entry procedures, ISF, AMS, and import documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
