The Program Manager in Service Recovery supports MTC for MRO aircraft by coordinating the procurement, movement, and tracking of aircraft parts and materials. This role ensures timely resolution of material shortages, accurate updates within SAP, and effective communication with U.S.

-based teams, distribution warehouses, line stations, and external suppliers. The position requires strong technical understanding, organizational discipline, and the ability to work independently in a fast paced maintenance environment.

The Program Manager manages site level shortage activity, including reconciliation, meeting required deadlines, ordering from stock, recalling station spares, checking the MRO Master and other sources for available inventory, and procuring from OEMs or surplus vendors. The role oversees the parts RTA process, Over Cap approvals, AOG drop ship activity, and all ROB actions, including initiation, capture, and submission through the ROB tool.

The expeditor updates MSNs with current status information and works with the MRO to close shortages upon material receipt, ensuring due diligence in all sourcing and procurement actions.

Technical tasks include using aircraft manuals (IPC, CMN, ER/A, drawings, service bulletins) to identify alternate part solutions, validating effectivity and alternate MPNs, and reviewing 8130 tags. The Program Manager also receives and stages AA kits, Prepull/FK1, and Nonroutine/FK2 inventory, and supports SOP development, training documentation, and quality audits.

The role requires daily coordination with Service Recovery, ASO, Material Planning, and Component Shop support. The Program Manager participates in daily production meetings, identifies material constraints, and proposes solutions to minimize aircraft TAT. Maintaining safe, compliant work practices and ensuring accuracy in all documentation are essential expectations.
