Dematic is seeking a motivated supply chain or engineering professional with a can-do attitude to join our team. This role will assist with sourcing efforts during the solutions development phase of our project-based business. This position involves acting as an analyst supporting pre-sale pricing and cost development, helping to ensure accurate, competitive, and timely proposals. You will collaborate across departments including engineering, sales, and procurement teams to gather supplier input, develop cost models, and contribute to solution inventing efforts.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $65,000 - $100,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

What You Will Do in This Role:

• Support sourcing activities during the solution development and pre-sales phases
• Assist in developing cost estimates, pricing models, and budget assumptions for proposals
• Engage with suppliers to request quotes, lead times, and technical information
• Analyze supplier bids for cost, quality, and delivery considerations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and project teams to align on solution requirements
• Help identify cost risks and opportunities, and escalate as appropriate
• Maintain and update cost databases, supplier information, and benchmarking data for both resale and installation vendors
• Support preparation of proposal documentation and presentation materials
• Assist in evaluating alternative materials, components, or suppliers to optimize cost and performance
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency in meeting proposal timelines and responding to business needs
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in the sourcing and cost development process

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within complex project environments.
• Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver cost and schedule improvements.
• Solid understanding of project planning and execution.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
