Service Logistics Coordinator
As a Service Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for a variety of logistics and material handling tasks, including shipping and receiving, scrap removal, recycling, tracking and delivering parts, scheduling pickups, and completing shipping documentation. You will verify incoming shipments against packing slips and confirm orders in Service Max. A key part of this role involves supporting your team by actively sharing information and assisting peers when needed.
Responsibilities include maintaining clear, professional, and effective communication in both verbal and written forms across all levels of the organization; developing and sustaining collaborative relationships with the Field Service Team and Logistics personnel to ensure alignment with customer requirements and timely fulfillment of parts needs; implementing cost-control measures wherever possible to enhance operational efficiency and support budgetary goals; demonstrating flexibility in work schedule, including availability for travel, overtime, and non-standard hours as required by business demands;
ensuring full compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures at all times; adhering strictly to all applicable U.S. export control laws and security regulations; and performing additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED, with a preferred associate's degree or related trade certification. Years of experience required is 2-3, with a focus on organizing and accounting for parts and shipments. Technical knowledge, skills, and abilities include strong communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork; proficiency in ERP systems, including SAP; excellent customer service skills and ability to handle stressful situations;
physically capable of lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 200 lbs; and understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations.
