What

will you do?

Carpool is looking for an ambitious Manager of Finished Vehicle Logistics to work alongside the Director of Finished Vehicles and serve as the bridge between Carpool Logistics and our OEM partners. This individual will oversee customer success for OEM accounts, ensuring flawless execution of transportation, quality control, and carrier performance.

You’ll bring your insider knowledge of OEM logistics operations, standards, and expectations to drive continuous improvement in service delivery and client satisfaction.

You will be responsible for supporting the growth of the FVL segment and creating lasting partnerships with stakeholders at all levels. You will have oversight of efficiently shipping vehicles from plants, ports, railheads, and service centers to end customers and dealerships while ensuring strict damage prevention standards. This is a high-level client experience and strategic role that will require automotive experience, a growth mindset, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities
  • Customer‑Focused Strategy: Serve as the primary point of contact for OEM clients including supply chain and logistics stakeholders to support their supply chain initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and customer needs. Oversee day‑to‑day transportation activities, ensuring all moves meet OEM quality, timing, and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor Quality and Performance: Monitor carrier performance proactively, resolving service or quality issues to protect OEM brand standards. Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement. Support customer success initiatives, including performance reviews, KPI tracking, and strategic planning.
  • Systems Integrations: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish API systems integrations.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

Work closely with product, marketing, sales, and operations to align initiatives, goals, and deliverables. Collaborate with internal teams (operations, technology, carrier relations) to deliver seamless, on‑time performance. Lead or mentor a small team focused on customer service, operations, or carrier management (depending on structure).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 3–7+ years of experience in finished vehicle logistics, preferably working for an OEM or directly supporting one through a logistics provider.
  • Deep understanding of OEM expectations for quality, compliance, and carrier execution.
  • Proven experience managing transportation performance, quality inspections, and customer communications.
  • Working knowledge of TMS systems, logistics reporting tools, and standard OEM data requirements.
  • Strong problem‑solving and relationship‑building skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
