Job Description & How to Apply Below

Interra International is a global leader in the trade supply and distribution of food commodities and ingredients. We also distribute consumer packaged goods to retail and food service industries.

THE DETAILS THAT DRIVE GLOBAL TRADE. THAT'S YOUR JOB.

Interra International is looking for a sharp, detail-driven professional ready to keep international trade moving — on time, on budget, and without missing a beat.

Not just coordination. The connective tissue of global commerce.

Most operations roles keep you in one lane. As a Trade Coordinator at Interra, you’re the link between sales, logistics, and finance — the person who makes sure deals that span continents actually land. Your work shows up in every shipment that leaves on time, every discrepancy that gets resolved before it becomes a problem, and every cost that stays where it should.

What

You’ll Actually Do

This isn’t a behind-the-scenes support role. You’re in the flow:

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments — owning timelines, communications, and problem-solving
  • Serve as the go-to liaison between sales, operations, freezers, and logistics partners
  • Keep systems accurate and current across every platform — no detail too small
  • Catch and resolve discrepancies in shipments, billing, and operations before they escape
  • Review trade costs on every order and flag anything that drifts from plan
  • Generate reports and surface commercial and operational insights that drive decisions
  • Ensure every shipment is compliant, documented, and audit-ready
What You’ll Walk Away With

Working at the intersection of sales, logistics, and finance, you’ll build deep fluency in end-to-end global trade execution, cross-functional communication, cost oversight and financial accuracy, data analysis and operational reporting, and proactive risk and discrepancy management.

Where this leads:

The Trade Coordinator role is a proven pathway into broader commercial and operations careers h performers grow into Sales, Procurement, or Operations management — with real global scope.

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need to have traded proteins or commodities before — that’s what we’re here for. You do need:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish — preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Attention to detail that borders on obsessive — in global trade, the details are the job
