Facility Operations Supervisor – Manufacturing & Warehouse Operations Want the opportunity to help build a new operation from the ground up?

Focus People is recruiting a Facility Operations Supervisor for Omori North America, a packaging equipment company establishing its Atlanta operation. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on operations professional who enjoys creating structure, solving problems, working with equipment, and taking ownership rather than stepping into an operation where every process is already established.

The selected candidate will play a key role in launching and managing the Atlanta facility while working closely with Omori's established leadership team in Canada.

This is not a desk-only supervisory position
. We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable managing operations, receiving inventory, operating a forklift, coordinating vendors, supporting equipment setup, developing procedures, and solving day-to-day facility challenges.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This role offers the opportunity to become one of the foundational employees of Omori's growing U.S. operation. Rather than inheriting a fully established facility, you will help shape how the Atlanta operation functions.

You will initially work with significant independence while remaining closely connected to leadership in Canada. As the business grows, the position may expand into broader facility leadership, employee supervision, manufacturing support, and operational responsibility.

The selected candidate is expected to spend approximately their first week of employment in Canada
, where they will see Omori's established operation firsthand, meet the team, learn existing processes, and understand how equipment, parts, service, inventory, and workflow are managed before helping apply those practices in Atlanta.

What You'll Do
  • Help launch, organize, and manage daily operations of Omori's new Atlanta facility.
  • Receive, organize, track, and maintain inventory, equipment, parts, and facility materials.
  • Personally operate forklifts and material-handling equipment as needed.
  • Coordinate vendors, contractors, deliveries, service providers, and other outside partners.
  • Assist with equipment installation, facility setup, showroom organization, and operational readiness.
  • Support service technicians and help coordinate equipment- and customer-related facility needs.
  • Develop and improve SOPs, workflows, inventory controls, and operational processes.
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day facility, equipment, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Communicate regularly with leadership in Canada regarding facility activity, priorities, issues, and progress.
  • Help translate successful processes from Omori's Canadian operation into the Atlanta facility.
  • As the operation grows, assist with hiring, training, onboarding, and supervising additional employees.
What We're Looking For

The strongest candidates will bring a combination of hands-on operations experience and leadership ability
. Relevant backgrounds may include manufacturing, industrial operations, warehouse/distribution, machinery/equipment, parts operations, production, or facility startup environments.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Experience supervising or independently managing manufacturing, warehouse, plant, distribution, or industrial operations.
  • Strong inventory, receiving, shipping, warehouse, or parts-management experience.
  • Exposure to industrial, production, packaging, automated, or other technical equipment.
  • Experience creating or improving SOPs, workflows, inventory controls, layouts, or operational processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and make sound decisions without constant onsite supervision.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, suppliers, technicians, or service providers.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally with customers, vendors, technicians, and leadership.
  • A proactive, resourceful approach and comfort working in a startup environment where processes and infrastructure are still developing.
  • Ability to clearly communicate previous…
