Minimum Education RequiredHigh School/GED
Education/ExperienceBachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in procurement, engineering, construction, estimating, or a related field, including experience supporting complex procurement activities, vendor negotiations, and subcontractor management is required.
Job Responsibilities- Lead subcontracting and/ or sourcing efforts for assigned construction projects.
- Develop procurement execution strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets.
- Serve as primary supply chain point of contact for assigned projects.
- Develop bid lists and sourcing strategies for subcontractors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and quantity takeoffs.
- Manage subcontractor and supplier prequalification and risk evaluations.
- Lead RFP/RFQ activities and commercial evaluations.
- Prepare bid tabulations and award recommendations.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders.
- Coordinate contract reviews with Legal and Operations.
- Monitor procurement of long - lead materials and equipment.
- Participate in project kickoff, procurement, and turnover meetings.
- Coordinate with Estimating, Preconstruction, Engineering, Operations, and Project Management.
- Develop strategic supplier and subcontractor relationships.
- Mentor Supply Chain Specialists.
- Maintain procurement reporting, trackers, and templates.
- Drive cost savings, risk reduction, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure Compliance With Company Policies And Client Requirements.
- Travel approximately 15% - 30%.
- Strong knowledge of construction procurement and subcontract buyout.
- Procore Experience Preferred
- Understanding of contracts, bonds, insurance, logistics, and freight.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Experience preparing bid tabulations and commercial evaluations.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- SPSM, CPSM, CPPP, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Previous Experience In The AEC Industry Preferred.

Environmental Factors And/orPhysical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information.
The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
