Job Description:

A federal client of Insight Global is looking for a logistics specialist to join their team. This team is working in a medical warehouse environment supporting a large government agency. This person will be responsible for keeping up with medical inventory- insuring inventory is not expired or damaged in any way and or removing expired or damaged material. This person could travel up to 50% of the time (100% reimbursable) to various locations in the U.S.A to track and replace inventory.

This person will be expected to communicate with state officials, hospital leadership, and other high-level individuals so this team is looking for someone who is professional and sharp.

Day To Day:
Perform materiel management functions and data entry required to maintain inventory and financial records. Develop and maintain reporting system or program measures of effectiveness in the support of customer requirements and readiness objectives. Ensure that the items are packaged, labeled, shipped, and delivered in accordance with the requirements. Assist in managing critical aspects of the development, production, deployment and integrated logistics support of systems, supplies and equipment.

Assist in day-to-day operations of inventory management. Submit regular logistics performance summaries and reports to FMS Team Lead. Be responsible for meeting inventory management's goals and objectives. Assist with all supply chain logistics operations including: warehousing, packaging and shipping/receiving. Perform visual inspections for corrosion and/or damage on temperature monitoring equipment. Operate an analog phone line test set and temperature standard thermometer to maintain cGMP requirements.

Be responsible for assisting in planning and conducting FMS annual inventory audits.

Compensation: $22/hr to $26/hr exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
