INTERSTATE CLEANING CORPORATION is seeking reliable individuals to provide commercial cleaning services in shopping malls and large retail department stores. The work environment is pleasant and drug‑free. This position requires a background check and a minimum age of 18. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be willing to work weekends.

National janitorial cleaning company provides professional housekeeping across multiple retail locations. Tasks include maintaining cleanliness of entrances, restrooms, floors, food courts, and common areas. Employees work independently and as part of a team under the guidance of a local Site Manager.

Typical tasks before or after mall/store closing:

• Clean entrances, restrooms, vinyl, stone, carpet, food court, and break rooms.
• Perform thorough cleaning and restock restrooms.
• Dust, wipe, sweep, mop, scrub; use machines for floor cleaning.
• Operate a diesel‑fired hot water pressure washer to clean sidewalks and entrance aprons, following safety precautions.
• Stack Food Court chairs and move tables to allow floor access when needed.

Typical tasks during mall/store open hours:

• Patrol mall looking for spills and hazards.
• Clean up wet or dry spills; call for assistance for larger spills.
• Wipe down mall common area furniture, entrance doors, and glass surfaces.
• Scrape up gum from floors and sidewalks; perform touch‑up cleaning.
• Restock restrooms.
• Porter, clean, and store Food Court tables and chairs; remove trays to designated area.
• Wash trays in commercial equipment or by hand; empty trash into wheeled cart and move to compactor areas.
• Load and operate trash and cardboard compactor machinery.
• Use cleaning chemicals, mops, buckets, rags, brooms, vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbing machines, floor buffers, and other equipment as required.
• Perform other cleaning tasks as assigned.
