** Description*
* The facilities management team consists of several specialized groups to meet the needs of Emory Healthcare Facilities. We are seeking a
** Maintenance Mechanic II
** to support and oversee equipment, patient care, and sustainability.

** Shift Time:
** 11p-7:30a

+ Maintains the safe operation and maintenance of building facilities and has a proven competency in one of the following areas; electrical/wiring, mechanical/HVAC systems, plumbing/pipe fitting or Plant Operations/Stationary Engineer.

+ Repairs and adjusts doors, windows, closures, panic devices and locks. Patches holes, installs escutcheons, repairs ceiling and floor tile as needed to maintain building appearance.

+ Makes minor masonry and wood repairs

+ Installs pictures, coat hooks, other wall hung furnishings, and equipment as requested.

+ Performs preventive maintenance activities, responds to customer complaints, and repairs equipment.

* MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* + A high school diploma or equivalent.

+ Minimum of 3 years experience in building maintenance.

+ Working knowledge in their area of competency of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, Plant operations, structural, or general carpentry.

+ May require a valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record.

+ Some positions within this classification may require the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop, and twist.
