Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Position Summary
Performs a variety of duties in and around the facility buildings, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining equipment and machinery. Assists the Director of Plant Operations in completing tasks.
Responsibilities- Performs a variety of duties in and around the facility buildings, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining equipment and machinery. Assists the Director of Plant Operations in completing tasks.
- High school graduate or equivalency preferred. Trade or vocational school training preferred.
- 2 – 3 years experience in plant operations.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC equipment, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and landscape maintenance. Must have driving record that meets La Amistad Behavioral Health Services policy.
- Heavy demand; walking, standing, bending, lifting objects in excess of 50lbs, pushing and pulling. Must be familiar with the use of hand and power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Plant Operations and CEO.
