The Manager of Investigations is responsible for leading and managing day-to-day investigations into potential violations of institute policies, ethical standards, or regulatory requirements. This role oversees investigative staff, ensures timely and thorough case resolution, and promotes consistent compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing performance, providing feedback, and making pay recommendations.
Responsibilities- Lead daily investigations into allegations of misconduct, policy violations, and ethical breaches within the institution
- Engage with internal and external auditors and regulatory agencies to facilitate compliance reviews and ensure transparency.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Oversee investigative staff by managing case assignments, setting performance expectations, providing feedback, conducting evaluations, and supporting professional development to ensure timely and high-quality investigative outcomes.
- Ensure evidence is properly gathered and reviewed, including documents, communications, and witness statements, to support investigation findings.
- Lead the development and quality review of investigative reports to ensure they accurately reflect the facts, findings, and evidence-driven outcomes of each case.
- Track investigation timelines and deliverables to ensure cases are completed within established time frames and meet quality standards.
- Deliver training on investigation protocols and compliance standards to enhance staff understanding and promote procedural consistency.
- Monitor changes in federal, state, and institutional regulations to ensure timely updates to investigative procedures.
- Foster a culture of compliance by encouraging open communication regarding investigative issues.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor s Degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Experience
Five or more years of relevant experience, including three or more years of supervisory experience.
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Master s Degree in a related discipline or equivalent.
Proposed Salary: 130,000 Annually
