As an Assistant Project Manager with us, you will be an essential part of the team! You will support Project Managers on commercial construction projects by coordinating submittals, staffing and manpower planning, resources, change orders, schedules, and project documentation.
Responsibilities:- Assist with project planning by helping define timelines, budgets, procedures, staffing needs, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and organize submittals and required project documentation
- Support procurement of materials and equipment per project specifications
- Act as a liaison between departments to coordinate day-to-day project activities
- Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders
- Maintain project documentation and track change orders
- Participate in project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and general contractors.
- Review change orders and assist with pricing updates to maintain budgets and profitability
- Assist with preparation of project reports for leadership, owners, and design partners
- Support the Project Manager in meetings and daily coordination as needed
- Prepare and help manage project schedules and deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of relevant experience in commercial construction, precon, project engineering, or related roles.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with project management and computer tools
- Desire to learn, grow, and contribute as part of a collaborative team
