CDC Federal Credit Union is owned and governed by its members, emphasizing a community-focused approach. Individuals who live, work, worship, attend school, or volunteer in parts of DeKalb, Fulton, or Gwinnett Counties in Georgia are eligible for membership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure retail and individual associate goals are attained on a monthly and annual basis through coaching, training, and motivation
  • Hold frequent staff meetings to ensure consistent communication
  • Exhibit sales aptitude with the ability to analyze and identify member needs, promote and cross sell products and services effectively, while ultimately achieving an acceptable level of production based on goals assigned
  • Ensure delivery of staff training on the use of credit union deposit products and services with consultative relationship building to offer financial products and services that meet or exceed members’ needs
  • Take escalated calls and member complaints and resolve issues promptly
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial services are provided to the membership by providing managerial leadership, direction and effective monitoring of staff
  • Follow all service standards established by the credit union
Operational
  • Schedule staff hours as needed to adequately cover business needs
  • Follow all credit union policies, procedures, security guidelines, and regulatory and policy compliance requirements, i.e., Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Regulations, and all other compliance-related policies
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of Credit Union policies regarding deposit services
  • Recommend modifications for deposit product, process, or retail service enhancements
  • Ensure written procedures are documented and maintained for all functions within area of responsibility to provide staff with instruction and guidelines for daily operations
  • Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
  • Actively participate in cross departmental collaboration to ensure effective and efficient communication
Management
  • Motivate assigned staff to be a collaborative, high-performance team to achieve goals
  • Periodically evaluate job performance of retail office staff as measured against established goals and objectives
  • Provide individual coaching in areas needing improvement
  • Motivates staff through reinforcement of positive outcomes and exemplary service recognition
  • Ensures on-going staff development and training needs are met
  • Recommends salary increases and/or bonuses based on individual performance results
  • Handle all other duties as assigned
Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three years supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of deposit regulations, laws, and rules
  • Ability to motivate others
  • Possess strong team-building skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledgeable of financial services and applicable industry regulations
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Ensure regular and predictable attendance
  • Bondable and have no felony convictions
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with CDC FCU’s dress code
  • Physically capable of performing assigned responsibilities; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential function
