Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Manager to join our Corporate Event Shared Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, planning, and execution of Tier 1 enterprise events across Honeywell. This role partners closely with corporate functions, business groups, and senior leaders to turn Honeywell's most important events into cohesive, high-impact experiences that advance enterprise priorities, business goals, and brand reputation.

This is not a logistics-only role. The Event Manager operates as a strategic partner, integrator, and owner - balancing enterprise storytelling, stakeholder leadership, and disciplined delivery.

You will report directly to our Senior Event Manager and work out of our Charlotte, NC global headquarters or our Building Automation headquarters in Atlanta, GA on a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Own the full lifecycle of assigned Tier 1 events, from early strategy and objective setting through execution and post-event impact reporting. This includes project management, sourcing, contract negotiations, budget management, registration, and various meeting logistics primarily within our Americas region.
  • Translate enterprise and business objectives into clear event strategies, experience design, and delivery plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for scope, timelines, budgets, and outcomes.
  • Partner with corporate and business stakeholders to shape event purpose, success metrics, and audience strategy.
  • Balance business needs with enterprise messaging, brand standards, and executive priorities.
  • Coordinate closely with communications, brand, marketing, product, and executive teams to ensure aligned storytelling.
  • Drive operational excellence with detailed project plans, production schedules, and run-of-show documents.
  • Identify risks early and lead solutioning across complex stakeholder environments.
  • Define success metrics in partnership with stakeholders before design begins and lead post-event evaluation and executive-ready reporting.
  • Travel required around 30%.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience leading complex, large-scale events or experiences preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools (i.e., budget tracking, project timeline, logistics and deliverables schedules, event specs, meeting agendas, and notes, etc.).
  • Strong project management skills, with proven success managing cross-functional stakeholders and agency partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and high visibility deliverables.
  • Strong written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
  • Experience supporting executive-level events and programs.
WE VALUE
  • Proficiency in Power

BI, Power Automate, and Power App platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with stakeholder management and communication.
  • Experience in reporting, analytics, and optimization.
  • B2B experience.
  • Excellent business writing and editing skills, including presentations.
