Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
FPC of Hendersonville is seeking an accomplished Senior Manufacturing Project Manager to lead high-impact initiatives across a complex, fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving strategic programs from planning through execution, improving operational efficiency, and enabling strong cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidate has deep experience in manufacturing operations, project leadership, and post-acquisition integration.
Salary: Up to $160K
Bonus: 10% with potential stretch to 20%
Location: Great Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver manufacturing-focused projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Manage multiple, concurrent initiatives related to manufacturing scale-up, process optimization, and technology implementation.
- Oversee end-to-end M&A integration efforts, including planning, execution, post-close activities, and KPI tracking.
- Identify risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies, including those tied to regulatory and safety compliance.
- Partner closely with teams across Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, HR, IT, and Legal to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and deliver project updates and status reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Manage change control processes related to scope, schedule, and financials.
- Maintain clear documentation of integration and project processes.
- Facilitate lessons‑learned reviews to drive continuous improvement and enhanced operational performance.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
- PMP, CSP, or CTC certification required
- 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing and/or project management
- Proven experience leading post‑acquisition integrations
- Strong understanding of the M&A lifecycle, including due diligence and change management
- Demonstrated success leading cross‑functional teams in complex manufacturing environments
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities
- High attention to detail and capability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and MS Planner
- Familiarity with project governance frameworks, including stage‑gate processes
- Experience in R&D or innovation‑driven environments is a plus
