About the Role

We are looking for an experienced people-first, proactive Sr. Manager of Product Management capable of building and leading a team of high-performing product managers to products from conceptualization to launch while delivering an unparalleled level of agility, ease-of-use, and integration capability.

This is a “hands on” people-leader role where you will build and lead a team of Product Managers to implement a data driven product roadmap. You'll regularly collaborate with our business partners, development teams, and internal customers to transform that roadmap into tangible results.

A critical aspect of this role is cultivating and championing an AI-first product vision within your team and effectively communicating this across various organizations. Your leadership style will foster positive and constructive relationships with both our customers and our internal "Workmates." Key Responsibilities:

• Hire, lead, mentor and inspire a team of product managers, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.

• Develop and implement the product roadmap, aligning it with Workday’s overall strategy and goals

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery

• Provides proactive transparency and effectively communicates delivery targets, commitments and progress

• Identifies impediments early, actively works to resolve those impediments, and elevates the issue when needed

• Management and tracking of cross team/squad dependencies and high-integrity commitments

• Works to minimize meetings and ceremonies, but when they are needed, they are well-run and efficient

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• 12+ years of related experience as a Portfolio Manager, Practice Manager, Product Manager, or Implementation Consultant

• 5+ years leading a product management team
