In this role, you will build, lead, and manage a high performing field-based sales team and oversee all commercial field sales activities. The National Business Director will have direct responsibilities for the development of strategic and tactical plans and directing the execution of those plans to meet and exceed performance goals.

You will:
  • Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team to meet the evolving needs of customers and drive business results
  • Lead cross-functional account planning for successful execution of launch strategy
  • Ensure compliant execution on deliverables, aligning with brand on program goals, and seeking to maximize program efficiency
  • Drive strategies, tactics, and initiatives that result in increased engagement with customers
  • Direct the development and execution of a customer engagement plan aligned with product launch strategies and tactics
  • Continuously builds clinical acumen as well as an understanding of the reimbursement environment, and product institutional distribution to lead a targeted strategy in assigned region
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Life Sciences, Master's preferred
  • 20+ years of commercial pharmaceutical experience
  • 7+ years in leading national or regional teams/2nd line leader experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in the oncology and/or dermatology sector is preferred
  • Demonstrated track record in leadership, management and operational oversight with a strong product launch background
  • Analytical in nature, metric driven, with a strong ability to develop sales strategy and ensure effective tactical execution
  • Excellent organizational skills, especially in project planning, project implementation, and cross-functional team management
  • Ability to hire, lead, coach, and mentor high performing teams
  • Diverse Commercial experience in Training, Marketing, Sales Ops, Market Access, IC preferred
