Job Description

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to lead the end-to-end change strategy for a major organizational transformation involving the creation of multi-country Shared Service Platforms (SSPs). This role ensures that global, regional, and country-level stakeholders are informed, equipped, and supported as they transition into a new operating model.

You will guide leaders and staff across multiple regions through structural changes, new ways of working, and sensitive people impacts. This includes developing the change strategy, assessing readiness, coordinating communications, and driving adoption of the Target Operating Model (TOM). Your work will be central to maintaining operational continuity while enabling more efficient, scalable, and integrated service delivery across a global footprint.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Change Management Strategy aligned to each project phase, from mobilization through implementation.
  • Build and execute a Change & Engagement Plan for all regions, clusters, and stakeholder groups impacted by the SSP rollout.
  • Conduct detailed stakeholder analyses and design communication activities that provide clarity around objectives, scope, timelines, and expected impacts.
  • Lead Change Impact Assessments, focusing on shifts in roles, reporting lines, leadership structures, workflows, and team culture.
  • Partner with HR to support people transition activities, including role changes, redeployments, and mitigation of people-related risks.
  • Provide hands-on adoption support during early implementation waves, especially in high-impact or high-risk country clusters.
  • Coordinate with the Organizational Designer to ensure TOM decisions translate into clear and adoptable changes for staff.
  • Identify, track, and escalate change-related risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Requirements
  • 8-10+ years of experience in change management or organizational transformation leadership.
  • Proven experience supporting shared services, operating model redesign, or multi-country organizational change initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of people impacts related to restructures, role transitions, and virtual or geographically dispersed team structures.
  • Experience working in global, distributed, or humanitarian-focused organizations is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence leaders and collaborate across countries and functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including development of messaging, talking points, and engagement materials.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with competing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving capability, cultural awareness, emotional intelligence, and a supportive, consultative approach.
