Summary: The Front Row Supervisor plays a vital leadership role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and high-quality operation of Front Row Management Services’ airport programs. This position is responsible for overseeing daily curbside operations, supervising frontline team members, and maintaining strong relationships with airport management and other key partners. The Supervisor ensures that all personnel adhere to company standards of professionalism, safety, and customer service excellence while upholding airport regulations and operational protocols.
This role requires a proactive leader with exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Supervisor will manage staff scheduling, performance monitoring, and compliance, while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed or appropriate:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the program and supervision of curbside agents
- Work closely with Airport’s Directors of Ground Transportation or designee to ensure the success of the Program
- Ensure employees have all required uniform items to include Security Badges.
- Conduct employee inspections at the beginning of each shift to ensure proper uniform wear and visible badges
- Ensure employees remain at assigned posts and are actively performing duties throughout the shift
- Direct, assign, and monitor staff performance throughout the shift
- Maintain accurate timekeeping records for every employee, enforcing proper use of the time clock (clock in, lunch out, lunch in, and clock out)
- Ensure corrective or disciplinary actions are reviewed and approved by the Project Manager and/or Assistant Project Manager before implementation.
- Make Daily rounds of the Central Passenger Terminal Complex and International Terminal to monitor performance and appearance
- Adhere to disciplinary action procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Establish and maintain documentation relative to employee issues
- Ensuring safety is always the highest priority
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with Airport management and staff
- Recognize discrepancies in ground transportation service and provide leadership to make a positive impact
- Complete all requested projects at the directive of the Project Manager and Asst. Project Manager
- Provide daily reporting for all project-related matters
- Handle all customer issues
- Implement accountability measures related to all equipment related to daily operations
- Develop and/or monitor advanced project scopes and schedules
- Proactively plan resources needed and effectively manage staff duties and responsibilities
- Demonstrate advanced ability to utilize scheduling software for project management
- Review and/or prepare all needed project correspondence (internal and external)
- Required to work flexible shifts, some weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ensure the training program complies with all applicable rules, laws, regulations, security directives, etc.
