Benefits Director Atlanta, GA

Salary Range: $110 – 120K

• Lead the full benefits and wellbeing strategy for a premier arts and culture organization as the Benefits Director.
• Serve as the organization's subject matter expert on employee benefits, retirement, and leave programs in the Benefits Director role.
• Partner directly with the Chief People & Culture Officer and senior leadership as the Benefits Director.
• Drive benefits design decisions that balance employee experience and organizational goals as the Benefits Director.
• Manage relationships with leading brokers, carriers, and benefits vendors as the Benefits Director.
• Own annual open enrollment strategy and employee education initiatives as the Benefits Director.
• Influence HR technology and data integrity through HRIS and benefits administration oversight as the Benefits Director.
• Play a visible role in supporting employee wellbeing, leave management, and workplace support programs as the Benefits Director.

• Lead the design, analysis, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs as the Benefits Director.
• Manage broker, carrier, and vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service and performance as the Benefits Director.
• Oversee benefits administration, enrollments, eligibility, HRIS data integrity, and audits in the Benefits Director position.
• Administer FMLA, ADA, disability, workers' compensation, and leave of absence programs as the Benefits Director.
• Direct annual open enrollment planning, execution, and employee communications as the Benefits Director.
• Provide benefits reporting and financial data support to Finance and leadership teams as the Benefits Director.
• Evaluate benefits programs and recommend enhancements to improve the employee experience as the Benefits Director.
• Ensure compliance with applicable benefits regulations and employment laws as the Benefits Director.

• 10+ years of HR and/or benefits administration experience required for the Benefits Director.
• Extensive knowledge of employee benefits, leave administration, and applicable employment laws essential for the Benefits Director.
• Experience managing health, welfare, retirement, and disability programs required for the Benefits Director.
• HRIS experience required;
  Workday experience preferred for the Benefits Director.
• Associate degree in HR or a related field (or equivalent experience) for the Benefits Director.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for the Benefits Director.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred for the Benefits Director.
• Strong analytical, communication, and vendor management skills expected of the Benefits Director.
