Tax Senior Manager - Asset Management

Role Overview

This position involves providing tax compliance and advisory services specifically for pass-through entities and partnerships within an Asset Management client base. The role requires overseeing client portfolios, managing teams of tax professionals, and ensuring delivery of high-quality tax advice.

• Assist clients with complex tax issues and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to leverage industry knowledge and innovative solutions.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external clients.
• Manage team members working on client projects.
• Contribute to market activities and business growth initiatives.
• For Senior Manager level, additionally oversee engagement risks, financial performance, billing, collections, and project budgets, and identify new business opportunities.

• Minimum five years of recent pass-through and partnership tax experience for Manager; at least eight years for Senior Manager.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements and teams.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; professional credentials such as CPA, JD/LLM, or EA are required or must be obtained within a year of hire.
• Strong knowledge of pass-through entities, partnerships, and tax regulations.
• Leadership skills to mentor staff and manage client relationships effectively.
