Overview
Inventory Analyst 3am-11:30am
Work Days Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday.
3am-11:30am
Shift May Change per Business Needs
Responsible for receiving Inter Dairy products and taking accurate inventory of all finished product and entering data into computer program. Work with all duties in Distribution as needed. Pays particular attention to product code dates, to insure that all product in the Cooler has been rotated on a First-In, First-Out, basis. Alerts leadership, as well as the Operations Planner, to any short-coded product and to any shortages of product in stock.
Duties may also include any other work deemed necessary by management. Follow department “IF DOWN DO” strategies.
- Must follow Department Safe Work Practices.
- Must be able to take a complete daily inventory of products that are stored in the Cooler and on trailers, by counting and recording the inventory.
- Must be able to take a complete end-of-the-month and end-of-the- period Cooler inventory, counting and recording the results.
- Must be able to work unsupervised and at times independently.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb a ladder, and to mount and dismount from a Fork-Truck.
- Must be able to maintain accurate paperwork.
- Basic Math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
- Ability to distinguish colors.
- Must be able to electronically enter figures into the computer with minimum basic computer skills.
- Ability to operate forklift to load out and receive product into the Cooler.
- Communicate and interact effectively with others.
- Must be able to rotate product by code date.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Vacation may be affected with job transfer.
- Must be able to work in a hot and cold environment (35 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Will follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
- Will support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 systems.
- Will be accountable to the Kroger Manufacturing food safety and quality principles.
