Summary

The 3rd Shift Brewery Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in ensuring seamless overnight operations across brewing, cellar, packaging, and warehouse functions. This position is responsible for executing the brewery’s production plan during third shift hours, maintaining consistent output levels, and upholding the company’s safety, quality, and operational standards.

Working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, the Supervisor provides direct oversight, coaching, and support to hourly team members, ensuring that all tasks are performed in compliance with safety regulations, operational procedures, and quality expectations. The Supervisor proactively monitors production flow, identifies and resolves issues, supports troubleshooting, and makes informed decisions to keep operations running efficiently.

Shift: 3rd Shift (overnights)

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Ensuring all employees are following the rules and regulations of the Brewery. This includes, but not limited to time and attendance, safety protocols, and operational integrity
  • Responsible for writing and issuing any disciplinary actions to hourly employees.
  • Support the Brewing, Packaging, Quality, and Warehouse in areas they need. This includes supporting troubleshooting, decision making, and at time filling in for roles.
  • Run Packaging lines when needed
  • Support Brewing
  • Ensure Quality checks are completed
  • Leading daily joint department shift handoffs
  • Train, Coach, and Develop team on the overnight shift.
  • Maintain Quality standards.
  • Final authority in Quality deviations
  • Performing Quality checks when needed
  • Monitor Productivity & Achieve Production Goals
  • Maintain Equipment & Report Issues Promptly
Education & Experience
  • 2-4+ years of experience in brewing, beverage production, packaging, or similar production environment.
  • Hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience working cross‑departments and cross‑training.
  • Technical & Operational Requirements
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment(s)
  • Proven ability to lead a team and manage with limited oversight.
  • Demonstrated understanding of best manufacturing practices (sanitation, quality control, safety procedures).
  • Good decision‑making skills and demonstrated sound judgement
  • Strong organizational skills required
  • Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to lift 55+ lbs (bags of grain, kegs, equipment) and move heavy materials safely.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in hot, cold, wet, and physically demanding environments.
  • Ability to have difficult conversations with team members
