MUST HAVES- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Hands‑on manufacturing engineering experience in a heavy industrial environment
- Tooling design experience
- Project management experience – ability to run projects end‑to‑end
- Experience with automation, including robotics and PLCs
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Solid Works) and Microsoft Office
- Foundry, high‑pressure aluminum die casting, stamping, plating, or finishing experience (plastic injection molding considered)
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading manufacturer with a dominant market share and a strong company culture. This hands‑on role reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and focuses on designing, optimizing, and implementing manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, quality, and throughput. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to support the integration of new capital equipment and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role typically follows an 8‑5 schedule, with occasional extended hours (45–50 per week), and offers bonus potential along with a robust benefits package.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement production processes for new products and product changes
- Design production tooling using 2D and 3D modeling software (Solid Works)
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements to designs, tolerances, and processes using Lean tools
- Conduct FMEAs for new and existing products, materials, and processes
- Review product designs for manufacturability and optimize processing methods
- Lead design review meetings for new and existing products
- Develop work instructions, statements of work, and critical parts inventories
- Implement automation solutions, including robotics, vision systems, controls integration, end‑of‑arm tooling, fixturing, gauging, and machine design
- Lead productivity improvement initiatives across current production lines
- Participate in cross‑functional teams to ensure optimal manufacturing methods
- Strong teamwork, ethics, and leadership skills

- Occasionally required to reach and lift up to 50 lbs
- Work occurs in both office and manufacturing environments; PPE and hearing protection may be required in certain areas
- Moderate noise environment, with occasional exposure to higher noise levels in manufacturing areas
