Machine Operator
As a Machine Operator
, you will be responsible for operating the SMETCO 300 pallet sorting machine, inspecting quality and sorting by the correct grade, and keeping the area clean of wood and debris.
- Hourly Pay: $18.50/hr.
- Shift(s): 3rd Shift Friday - Sunday 6:30pm - 6:00am
- Location: Atlanta, GA, 30315
- Operate SMETCO 300 pallet sorting machine.
- Read and interpret the display on machine.
- Grade pallets.
- Keep area clean of wood and debris.
- Previous machine operation experience preferred.
- Previous experience operating a SMETCO 300 is a plus.
- High school degree or GED required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills needed.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in extreme conditions including heat, cold, and air particulate.
- Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts.
- Noise level in the work environment is dependent on location.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes).
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision and color vision.
- Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
