Machine Operator, Manufacturing Production, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

Work Shift:
12hr-D Shift (United States of America). 12 hour night shift position 5:30pm-6:00am rotating on a 2-2-3 schedule. Pay: $ per hour with a shift differential. SIGN ON BONUS: 40 hours of pay after 30 days and 80 hours of pay after 90 days.
- Operate blow‑mold machines, grinders, trimmer machines and conveyor systems.
- Troubleshoot process problems and perform minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line.
- Follow the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices and comply with corporate and plant safety standards and applicable laws and regulations.
- Operate blow‑mold machines (including wheels, reciprocating or shuttle machines) to produce quality bottles; conduct audits, weights and quality checks.
- Adhere to quality control and blow‑mold process procedures.
- Perform minor repairs on blow‑mold and support equipment; adjust to meet product specifications.
- Repair or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines; assist with preventive maintenance, mold, neck and blow pin and other mechanical changes.
- Grind excess bottle and material; troubleshoot and resolve process problems.
- Prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs.
- Train blow‑mold employees; prepare and document daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies and other.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic computer experience.
- Blow‑mold experience.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Completion of Altium Production/Machine Operator training within 90 days of hire date.
The employee frequently must stand, walk, use hands to grasp, handle, or feel; reach out, over and below with hands and arms. The employee occasionally must climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee frequently must lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work EnvironmentThe employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. Noise level is usually loud. Temperature fluctuates between hot and cold with seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
