Production Packaging Associate; Night-D-Shift

6220 Duquesne Drive, Atlanta, Georgia 30336 — Shift: 12‑hr D (U.S.)

The Production Packaging Associate is an entry‑level position responsible for proper packaging of materials and finished products, loading, moving material, and operating packaging equipment while following Good Manufacturing Practices.

• Demonstrate safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Maintain punctuality and adhere to the work schedule.
• Work effectively with others and demonstrate a teamwork attitude.
• Adhere to company general manufacturing policies.
• Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from lines.
• Pick up dropped bottles from the production floor and place them in designated bins.
• Place discarded bottles into a grinder, if applicable.
• Inspect the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
• Perform bottle inspections, such as drop tests for designated lines.
• Immediately report all bottle abnormalities, defects, and quality issues.
• Monitor supply levels of packaging materials and replenish as needed.
• Ensure correct labeling, bottle description, and packaging of product to meet customer requirements.
• Move finished goods to the designated area.
• Ensure efficient set‑up and organization of workstations.
• Maintain inventory levels and restock supplies to facilitate smooth transitions between shifts.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform duties that may differ by plant based on equipment and plant design.
• Be available for reasonable mandatory overtime as needed.

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer experience.
• Preferable:
  High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain proper packaging standards.

The role requires frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to grasp, handle, or feel; reaching out, over, and below with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or moving up to 50 pounds frequently is required.

Employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, loud noise levels, and temperature fluctuations between hot and cold. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in production areas.
