** Job Description
**** Key Responsibilities May Include:
** Preparation and Operation of Tools and Equipment:
* Set up and prepare tools and equipment for production and assembly line use.
* Ensure that all necessary materials and components are available and in proper quantities.
* Conduct routine inspections to identify any issues with tools and equipment before operation.
* Operates equipment that cuts wood and wood products to specified lengths.

Equipment Monitoring:
* Operate machinery to support product and material flow along the production line.
* Monitor equipment functionality, looking out for jams, glitches, or irregularities.
* Address minor jams and disruptions promptly to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
* Report any larger equipment issues or malfunctions to the technical maintenance team.
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth production flow.

Safety and Compliance:
* Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following company safety standards.
* Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately

Other Duties as Assigned
* Lift and carry 77lbs at least 33% of their work shift.
* Push items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feet.
* Pull items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feet.
** Machine Operator
**** POSITION PURPOSE
*** The Machine Operator is responsible for operating machinery essential to pallet repair and assembly line production.
* This position will also be responsible for preparing tools and equipment for production and assembly line use, ensuring seamless operations, and maintaining a high level of efficiency.
* The Machine Operator will monitor equipment functionality, identify, and address minor jams, and report larger issues to the preventative maintenance team.
* The primary goal is to operate machinery safely and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the production process.
