Forklift Operator, Material Handler
What You’ll Do for Us
- Move product to and from trucks, racks, and other locations as assigned. Perform required cleaning and sanitation duties to meet GMP standards.
- Use a portable computer terminal and laser scanning device to accurately record product movements by item number, lot code, location, and/or truck number.
- Perform inventory transactions accurately in warehouse management systems and SAP.
- Conduct cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical inventory activities. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Have a working understanding of manufacturing inventory movement such as MF60, staging PSA, and reconciliation.
- Accurately complete pre-operation forklift inspections.
- Maintain accurate inventory locations and warehouse organization.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or overages.
- Support month-end inventory reconciliation activities.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
- Demonstrate support of The Coca-Cola Company’s safety initiatives and policies.
- Comply with all standard operating procedures and requirements under The Coca-Cola Company’s Quality System.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must possess a valid forklift operator license or be certified before driving a lift truck.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Must be able to work 8‑hour or 12‑hour shifts, or other schedules as determined by business need, including overtime.
- Must be able to move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. 10 feet or more.
- Must be certified on the training plan for this position within 60 working days of start date.
