Job Title: Senior Industrial Engineer

About the OpportunityRaise is hiring on behalf of a key client in the Food & Beverage industry. This organization is an established industry leader experiencing strong growth and expanding its operations to meet increasing demand.
This is a high-impact, Principal-level role offering the opportunity to lead critical engineering initiatives, influence operational strategy, and drive large-scale improvements across a multi-site manufacturing network.
Role Focus- Highly technical and hands‑on role with minimal team management responsibilities
- Strong experience in multi‑site / network optimization across manufacturing operations
- Proven track record leading large‑scale Cap Ex projects ($MM range)
- Background in high-performance manufacturing environments
Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing, the Senior Industrial Engineer will play a critical role in driving process improvements and executing both capital and non‑capital projects across manufacturing operations.
This position focuses on designing, optimizing, and implementing manufacturing systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards. You will collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure seamless workflows and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Design and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, safety, and quality
- Support TPM‑based / operational excellence initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions
- Develop plant layouts and equipment specifications to maximize throughput
- Partner with quality teams to ensure compliance and implement corrective actions
- Support new product introductions and scale‑up activities
- Conduct cost‑benefit analyses for process improvements
- Lead large‑scale engineering projects ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Travel to sites as needed to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
- Drive cross‑functional initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service levels
- Advise leadership on engineering strategy, capital investments, and operational improvements
- Lead implementation of scalable solutions including automation, layout optimization, and workflow redesign
- Standardize project execution and develop SOPs
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure system integration and efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 10 –12 years of relevant industrial/manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in high-performance manufacturing environments
- Strong proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Experience working with ERP systems and production planning tools
- Experience with automation, robotics, or smart manufacturing technologies
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
- Knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory compliance
- 30% – 40% travel required across multiple facilities (including East Coast, Midwest, and international locations)
