* Sets or loads program (when available) to program zero-point reference.
* Sets tool compensation offsets, edit program (drilling depth and movement), set safety and tool monitors, adjust tools to parts specifications.
* Saves program to computer when necessary.
* Ensures operation of machinery. This includes completing preventive maintenance on the machine, programs PRIMS.
* Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
* Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
* Must be proactive towards learning/ SOJT training process.
* Must work in compliance with maintenance manuals.
* Must be proficient in basic computer skills.
* Provides maintenance information to others by answering questions.
* Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
* Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing requirements to complete the job.
* Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
* Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
* Demonstrates ability to setup a machine and run the job with minimal supervision.
* Possesses basic math and computing knowledge, to include word processing, and email
* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Is safety conscious and looks for opportunities to improve safety.
* Contributes to team effort by assisting and accomplishing related tasks as needed.
* Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
