Who you report toVice President of Manufacturing What you’ll tackle
Own day-to-day operations and metrics for two facilities—safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.
Lead Production, Maintenance, Tooling, and Material Handling teams to achieve the safety champion: drive committees, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and statutory training.
Build and maintain production schedules aligned with customer demand and inventory goals.
Lift OEE to elevate OTD, increase throughput, and optimize variable labor impact on the P&L.Run shipping/receiving, inventory control (including cycle counts), and material handling equipment maintenance.
Coordinate equipment installations and facility layout initiatives; manage contractors and on-site execution.
Audit standard work and process control plans; reduce defects and avoid cost of poor quality.
Review quality metrics with plant leaders; pinpoint root causes and implement durable fixes.
Right-size staffing; grow and evaluate Supervisors, Leads, and hourly talent.
Identify operator skill gaps; design training with the right internal experts.
Advance a strong 6S culture and visual management; steward the Quick and Easy Kaizen (QEK) program.
Stay current on modern operations methods and translate them into practice for your teams.
Build and manage plant budgets; influence variable labor and operating expenses on the P&L.Partner cross-functionally to enable change; communicate timelines and deliverables clearly.
Operate within company standards for quality management, health & safety, environmental policy, legal requirements, and ethics.

What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience5+ years leading teams in manufacturing
Metal stamping/fabrication background preferred
Deep Lean manufacturing toolkit and mindset
Demonstrated P&L responsibility and impact
Quality system experience (ISO 9001:2015 a plus)
Fluency in Excel-based data analysis and ERP reporting
Proven ERP-based scheduling expertise
Clear, influential communicator and seasoned people leader
