Overview

We are hiring a skilled Turner Metal Machinist to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia.

• Set up and operate various metalworking machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine the dimensions and tolerances of the required part.
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of the finished product.
• Work with a variety of materials including steel, aluminum, and brass.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot issues with machines and make necessary adjustments.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Proven experience as a Turner or Metal Machinist.
• Strong knowledge of metalworking machinery operations and maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Proficient in basic math skills and able to accurately measure dimensions.
• Good physical stamina and dexterity for operating heavy machinery.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
