Step into the Line: A Day in This Role

When second shift kicks off, you take ownership of an automated forming line that transforms wire rod into precise u-bolts and bent bolts. You check the machines, confirm parameters, and keep quality and safety front and center while meeting production goals.

• Starting hourly rate: $22.00 base + $2.20 shift differential = $24.20 per hour
• Piece Rate production bonuses

• Set up and run an automated line to meet production specifications.
• Complete pre-run inspections and monitor equipment performance during production by reviewing process parameters and indicators.
• Convert wire rod into finished u-bolts and bent bolts, checking pieces for defects and verifying dimensions with fixtures/templates.
• Accurately record output following company procedures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues; identify root causes of errors, problems, and defects.
• Handle basic machine maintenance and demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude.
• Move raw material and parts with forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and assist with additional tasks as assigned.
• Follow all OSHA and internal safety standards.

• 2–5 years in a production manufacturing environment (required).
• Hands‑on experience with u-bolt and bent bolt production (ideal).
• Proficient with standard shop measuring tools and hand tools (required).
• Exceptional attendance history (required).
• Experience operating metal stamping presses ().
• Comfortable with shop math and performing standard computations.
• Able to read blueprints/schematics and engineering drawings.
• Capable of basic equipment maintenance.
• Understands, follows, and helps enforce safety procedures.
• Sound administrative/procedural judgment and a collaborative, team‑focused approach.
