Primary Responsibilities- Set up and program CNC burning machines
- Bevel parts to customer specs from work order
- Cut scrap to properly dispose
- Reads and interprets blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific burning or beveling requirements
- Controlling machines and processes (using either control mechanisms/direct physical activity to operate machines or processes
- Handling and moving objects
- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials and manipulation
- 5+ years’ of relevant experience
- Ability to move controls on panel board to regulate temperatures of solutions
- Must be able to handle multi torch and plasma operations
- Must be able to read instruments (thermometers, pressure gauges, potentiometers, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints and geometric tolerances
- Must understand basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools such as hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, grinders, etc.
- Understands metric/standard measurements
