Job Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare components and parts for primer and paint
- Match color and mixing paint
- Apply epoxy primer and polyurethane topcoat
- Deliver finished components and parts to their respective locations

Job Functions:
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of general housekeeping and office clerical procedures.
- Working knowledge of computer use.
- Ability to regularly exercise sound judgment.
Safety Requirements:
- Will participate in and support safety initiatives, safe work practices, and compliance.
- Will participate in safety activities, including immediately reporting hazards, unsafe work practices, and accidents/injuries.
- Will follow all safety rules, FAA regulations, PPE compliance, and equipment operation requirements.
Working Conditions:
Physical Demands:
Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling weight up to 85 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Equipment Operated:
Paint removal and application equipment, common hand tools, various general shop and office machines/equipment
Work Location:
On-Site at PAG Offices
Protective Equipment
Required:
PPE will be provided
Potential Hazards:
Exposure to materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, follow strict safety and environmental guidelines, and adapt to changing schedules or project demands is key to success in this role. Ability to read, write, and understand the English language and to follow verbal and written instruction. Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and the use of specialized coatings that meet aviation industry standards and regulations.
Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals and work instruction is essential. Attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to quality are critical to ensure a flawless finish that meets both aesthetic and functional requirements.
Education/Training:
Task-specific training will be provided.
Experience:
No specific experience required however aviation or automotive paint preparation/application experience preferred.

Other:
Other duties may be assigned in role to support other Painting Department, personnel or projects. Duties not listed within the position description may be required of the employee at the discretion of the department management. Job functions may vary due to irregular working conditions, locations in multiple time zones, or shift positions.
