Turner - Metalworking Specialist

We are a metalworking company located in Atlanta and we are seeking a highly skilled Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating machinery and tools to shape metal pieces into specific parts or components.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine specifications for metal pieces
• Set up and operate various machinery such as lathes, grinders, drills, and mills to cut and shape metal pieces
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy of finished products
• Monitor the performance of machines, make adjustments as needed, and perform maintenance tasks to keep them running smoothly
• Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
• Work with a variety of metals including steel, aluminum, brass, and copper
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the production process

• At least 3 years of experience as a Turner or in a similar role
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
• Extensive knowledge of metalworking techniques and machinery operation
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if needed
• Biometric passport or willingness to obtain one

We offer competitive salary of $1000 per week along with opportunities for growth within the company. This position is open to all applicants who are eligible to work in the United States.
