Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace Assembly & Testing)

Our client, an innovative aerospace manufacturer, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the development and scaling of advanced aerospace manufacturing production. This role sits at the intersection of Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Test
, supporting the company's strategic growth by improving manufacturing efficiency, solving production challenges, and increasing throughput. .

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality: Ensure all products meet or exceed quality standards through effective quality control and ongoing monitoring.
  • Process Improvement
    :
    Identify and help implement enhancements using best practices to boost productivity and minimize waste.
  • Hands-On Manufacturing Engineering Support the design, development, validation, and implementation of manufacturing tooling, fixtures, gauges, and production support equipment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    :
    Work closely with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Safety Commitment
    :
    Work in a culture of safety, complying with health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to the industry.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Industrial Manufacturing Process, or a related field.
  • 0-5+ years of direct experience in related manufacturing engineering.
  • Experience with 3D CAD (Creo preferred) and engineering drawings/GD&T
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality assurance practices.
  • Proficiency in using various assembly processes and all related tooling.
  • Familiarity with aerospace materials and their manufacturing processes.
  • Safety and quality standards in manufacturing with ISO 9001 or AS9100 experience.
  • Experience or certification in LEAN methodology / LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred.
  • Work experience with ERP systems.
  • Must be a US Citizen, due to an ITAR complaint facility.
