Backroom Coordinator

Home Goods, in partnership with Widgets Co, is seeking a Backroom Coordinator to support our manufacturing-driven retail operations. In this role, you will manage backroom inventory, ensuring materials and products are accurately received, labeled, stored, and routed to the production and sales floor teams. You will maintain stock accuracy through regular counts, update inventory systems, and coordinate with manufacturing, logistics, and store staff to meet production and merchandising timelines.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficient workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily backroom operations to support production and store needs
• Receive, verify, and organize incoming inventory and materials
• Maintain accurate stock levels and conduct regular cycle counts
• Coordinate material flow from backroom to production and sales floor
• Use inventory systems to track items, replenishments, and discrepancies
• Ensure safe handling, labeling, and storage of all products and equipment
• Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, and store teams on priorities
• Monitor backroom cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance
