Vice President of Manufacturing Do you excel at orchestrating complex operations while improving safety, quality, cost, and delivery? As the Manufacturing Plant Manager overseeing two Phoenix Stamping Group sites, you’ll guide people, processes, and performance to exceed expectations.
Why This Role Lead the full spectrum of plant operations (Production, Maintenance, Tooling, Material Handling) across two facilities.
Own OEE drivers and align schedules with demand and inventory goals to elevate OTD, throughput, and labor efficiency.
Shape a culture of continuous improvement powered by Lean, 6S, and QEK.Your Core Responsibilities Lead Operations Champion the safety program as a committee member; lead root-cause and corrective actions.
Coordinate statutory training and ensure compliance readiness.
Direct shipping/receiving, inventory control (cycle counts), and material handling equipment maintenance.
Support equipment installations and facility layout changes; manage internal and contractor timelines.
Audit standard work and process control plans to prevent defects and reduce COPQ.Assess staffing levels; develop Supervisors, Leads, and all labor (direct/indirect).Establish operator development pathways and launch targeted training programs.
Advance Lean and CIApply Lean tools and techniques to streamline processes and lower operating costs.
Use data-driven, structured problem-solving to address issues systematically.
Solicit and act on ideas from employees at every level.
Implement and sustain 6S and visual factory practices.
Manage the Quick and Easy Kaizen (QEK) program and meet quarterly targets.
Operate with Integrity Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace; participate in audits.
Collaborate with other functions to communicate timelines and deliverables.
Ensure compliance with quality management, health and safety, legal requirements, environmental policies, and duty of care.
Adhere to company policies and uphold lawful, ethical standards.

What You Bring Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
5+ years in a manufacturing supervisory role.
Experience in metal stamping and metal fabrication preferred.
Proficiency with Lean manufacturing principles.
P&L ownership experience with demonstrated financial impact.
Quality systems knowledge (ISO 9001:2015 preferred).Excellent analytical, organizational, and computer skills (Excel, ERP reporting).Demonstrated success scheduling within/through ERP systems.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
