Role OverviewThe Production Manager is responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high- quality production. This role drives operational excellence by aligning production activities with business objectives, optimizing productivity, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The position partners with cross-functional teams to improve operational performance, manage resources effectively, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop production teams to achieve operational, quality, safety, and productivity objectives.
- Monitor production performance metrics and implement actions to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, operational procedures, and environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and resources required to meet production goals.
- Optimize inventory management, implement process improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Associate degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations management.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and supply chain operations.
- Experience using systems and tools for production planning, inventory management, and operational analysis.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
